Agrifood Tecnologic Platform Galega (PTGAL). The meeting point of the I+D+i.

The PTGAL, which holds CECOPESCA ANFACO-technical secretary of the Mar-industry sector, was born in 2006 in order to exercise the interface structure for the integration of efforts in I+D+i among all actors involved in the food industry Galician, integrating today at 3 Universities in Galicia, technology centers and over 100 companies.
PTGAL The objectives are to promote the growth, sustainability and competitiveness of the sector to generate in the medium and long term proposals strategy to develop the potential of the sector in the work areas of food quality, processing and distribution, food security, sustainable production and nutrition and health.

Currently has 4 working groups "Novos produtos e recovery of raw materials and produtos", "Novas tecnoloxías processing," "Food funcionais" and "Training".
