ANFACO-CECOPESCA as Center for Technological Innovation and Technology Transfer office (TTO) , is committed to the dissemination and transfer of research results to private enterprise and public administration, and to society in general.

In ANFACO-CECOPESCA we are convinced that improving the competitiveness of companies and government agencies is based on  improving training of people and on better information management.

ANFACO-CECOPESCA has been recognized as  Technology Transfer Office (TTO) in accordance with the provisions of the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of 16 February 1996 with the Reg Nº 90 of the Book of the National R & D General Secretariat (1997) .

Since its origin, the goal of ANFACO-CECOPESCA TTO has focused on increasing the innovative capacity, and therefore the competitiveness of companies in the processor of fish and aquaculture products sector, creating new services of interest, and specially those related to industrial organization, information technologies, continuous improvement, innovation management, standardization, certification, industrial safety, total quality and management of contracts and patents.

TTO develops a wide range of services in research , innovation and technological development area, and its mission is the technological transfer to fish and aquaculture products processors sector.

Among the priority tasks of TTO :

• Identification of transferable results generated by researchers as the potential needs of R & D companies in order to establish contractual relations .
• Advice to researchers in developing research contracts, proposals for R & D projects and drafting and processing of those proposals.
• Advising companies in finding solutions to their technology requirements and financial aid information for the development of R & D projects in Spain and Europe.

Among other goals that has this office would include the following:

• Facilitate and promote collaboration between research groups, technological development and innovation of CECOPESCA with entreprises.
• Facilitate collaboration of the Universities, Public Research Organizations and Industrial Research Partnerships with the research areas and CECOPESCA associated enterprises .
• Management, dissemination and transfer of projects and plans for R & D
• Study, participation and creation of networks and link centers, and  in this cases , contact and sharing with other parts of Spain and the European Union.
• Improvement of  ANFACO Innova Plan, Surveillance System and Technological demand.

These objectives are achieved today through a series of activities involving all staff of CECOPESCA.

Our OTT offers services as:

Dissemination of research and technological offer of ANFACO-CECOPESCA.
• Identify the results generated by research groups, evaluate their transfer potential and share this results  with companies, directly or in colaboration with interface organism closer to the company.
• Facilitate the transfer of these results to companies.
• Search, detection and channel of R & D of business interest.
• Collaboration in the develoment of projects  and administrative procedures.
• Have a database of knowledge, infrastructure and  R & D offer of ANFACO-CECOPESCA.
• Collaboration in research personnel exchanges between business and institution, providing necessary information.
• Participation in the negotiation of research contracts, technical assistance, consulting, patent licensing, etc.., between our research groups and companies.
• Organization of technical meetings, transfer comittees, presentations and other communication mechanisms with the productive and technological environments.
• Coordinate activities between TTO’s  with other active agents in the field of technological transfer.
• Development, coordination and dissemination of  INFO OTRI, ANFACO INNOVA and INFO CECOPESCA bulletins.
